The Winter Pansy
Brightly coloured faces stand un-uniformed,
Hanging there, heads held up high,
giving winter a bright cheerful glow,
smiling gaily in the fluffy white snow,
Winters bleak and icy cold,
but there they still stand with colours
bold!
How do they do it?
hidden secrets untold,
They give a smile to a passing neighbour,
Through the bitter cold on they labour!
Those little brightly coloured faces,
all standing there in their places.
