Life
That radiant suns arising,
That radiant suns arising,
Bestowing warmth to the golden dawn,
Illuminating magic to the glinted stars
As they fade with light of morn.
Elsewhere Wild winds no longer wailing,
Seas rest like pools of glass,
Heather scented smothered dales,
Mysterious ghosts of its silent past-
Obscured by a fine faint veil,
Who knows where we are going
Most cease to even care,
Life is just a flicker
Dreams floating in the air,
Flames flicker on a candle
To be snuffed before twilight,
Life’s eternal circles,
Assumed infinite without cease,
Winding waves rage wildly
In enchanted emerald reefs,
Surfs battering the coastline
a strange chaotic peace.
that radiant sun arising.
Dusks white moon shimmers softly
In diamond studded dark,
Sleek gold and silver pathways
Straggling through the oceans tides,
Lovers drift across the sand
Their loving souls collide.
Still that radiant suns arising.
An old man sups his pint,
Smoke fills his precious lungs,
Eye’s blind to what he’s missing,
Convinced life for him life wasn’t kind
As tears drip into his beer,
His life filled with pain and fear,
A million wasted moments,
A grave already dug,
Now he’s only history
His body’s gone to dust.
That old’ red sun keeps arising.
A child cries for his mother,
A new life’s just been born,
That child may live in riches
His trousers may be torn,
Who knows what life holds for us?
Who seems to really care!
A dog awaits his master’s voice,
Flowers await the light,
So much happens in a moment,
The red sky ends the night,
Life’s ours just to rent for now,
Embrace it with your might.
Soon the stars will cease to twinkle,
Memories of a million torches
O’ such was that awesome sight!
That sun is still arising.
What were those stories that great grandma told
About frozen glaciers in the seas?
Only our creator knows the purpose
Of all the birds and bees,
Soon there’ll be no more green grass or blossomed trees,
Who knows how it will happen
To stop destruction man didn’t really try,
Most didn’t even bother
To stop and question why,
Now soon may tears fill a billion eyes?
‘Cos that sun will soon just cease to rise.
It will happen without warning,
No time to say goodbye.
